Legal Boundary
The practice of cadastral surveying as defined by the Surveyors Act
means "…the advising on, reporting on, conducting or supervising the conduction of surveys to establish, locate, define or describe lines, boundaries or corners of parcels of land or land covered with water".

Cadastral surveys can only be performed by an
Ontario Land Surveyor.

Layout Services
Construction layout is the checking of the architects site plan and calculation of the building's relationship with the boundary. The calculation and layout of corners on grid lines to assist the contractor. The setting of bench marks and elevations for grading. The final location survey of the “as built building” and grading certification if necessary.
